This was a free to participate stitch and creative textile project that kept a number of women sane during the pandemic. With the simple inspiration of a 1934 edition of Mary Thomas's Dictionary of Embroidery Stitches.
With a random stitch from the book, some Zoom workshops, a shared closed Facebook group we worked together sharing and exploring. The project had a discreet exhibition in October 2020 to show off the lovely work by the group. In 2012 the national Stitch magazine ran an article on the project.
